Southside Fringe are delighted to be working in collaboration with My Shawlands and Baldy Bane Theatre Company to deliver this community showcase celebrating the wealth of diversity in the Southside of Glasgow. Diversity of creativity and talent, diversity in the people who call the area home and diversity in the plethora of local independent businesses, venues and community initiatives which can be explored and enjoyed on the Southside.
To kick off the Southside Fiesta on the 11th of May a procession will take over Shawlands with groups, schools, businesses and acts all being invited to take part and demonstrate their diversity by creating a riot of colour on the Southside streets. The procession starts at 12pm from Pollok Football Club and will arrive in the newly finished square outside Langside Halls, kicking off an afternoon of quality live entertainment from local schools and content drawn from the 2019 Southside Fringe Festival programme.
